ALMA Communications is a boutique, Brooklyn-based PR agency operating at the intersection of contemporary art and social change. The team at ALMA approaches communications with an emphasis on collaboration and humanism, treating each project with the utmost care. Over the years, we’ve grown into a four-woman team with diverse backgrounds in the arts and beyond, working with a mix of mission-driven artists, galleries, institutions and organizations.

ALMA’s Director, Hannah Gottlieb-Graham, is a communications specialist with a photography and dance background. Hannah grew up in the Midwest and frequently traveled to Europe, Latin America and West Africa alongside her writer and researcher parents. She has a specific interest in identity, movement and multiculturalism. Prior to founding ALMA, Hannah held communications positions at The Aperture Foundation, Howard Greenberg Gallery, Luhring Augustine Gallery, Sutton, Nadine Johnson and Third Eye. She’s worked closely with renowned international artists, facilitated partnerships and events with leading brands and cultural institutions and made press placements in high-level national and international publications. She studied photography, contemporary art and dance at The University of Oxford and Sarah Lawrence College as a Dean’s Merit Scholar at both institutions.
