ALMA’s story begins with two young thinkers.
They met in New York City, each carrying baggage from the places they existed before.

In their youth, they danced in the streets, experiencing the beauty of the city.
They befriended artists, poets, musicians, professors. They worked all night and fell in love.

Later, they graded papers and published books. They traveled on airplanes and boats to deliver talks.
They tucked themselves away in their offices until they met their deadlines.

They built a family. They experienced loss. They made sacrifices. They evolved.

They created something beautiful, the rare kind that doesn’t come by chance.
Even after 50 years together, they still finish each other’s sentences.

Growing up, I was entranced by my parents’ stories and wanted nothing more than to tell my own.

ALMA is a product of their teachings: to uplift, to learn from others, to weave words together beautifully.
It’s a business built on trust and care; an ecosystem that I’m proud to exist in.
